Phuong Ho joined SNF in 2019. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Arizona in 2019. Her current research focuses on how firms and consumers make decisions that affect the environment and interact with environmental and resource policies. For example, in the municipal solid waste industry, how do waste haulers respond to waste flow controls? What are the costs of NIMBY regulations and their distributional effects? In fisheries, how do fishermen behave given private property rights? Do individual transferable quotas resolve the tragedy of the commons?
